Move, live and eat wildly on a ruggedly beautiful coast

These carefully crafted fitness retreats take place at an elegant 18th-century villa and rustic converted barn in 300 glorious acres inside a UNESCO biosphere near Es Migjorn Gran. Re-wild your mind and body and find out how nature intended you to move, live and eat. Purposeful, playful movement sessions, meditation, massage and a natural food regime will re-energise you and potentially transform your life.

our Reviewer Emma Douglas says:

‘The hastier eaters amongst us benefit particularly from a blindfolded game where we savour flavours, textures and make wildly inaccurate guesses – deprived of sight and smell – on what we are tasting’

Queen of Retreats says:

‘It’s a fun and empowering experience to learn how to move efficiently with exceptional teachers in such glorious landscapes. Come with a spirit of adventure and you will relish the experience. Don’t bother with a pre-retreat mani-pedi; your first tree climb will ruin it. While a digital detox is not enforced, it is encouraged’

Experiences

Both retreat types, Fundamental and Transformative, include a posture and movement assessment, hikes, beach games, swimming, daily movement, interactive workshops, cookery and massage. Transformative adds a one-to-one personal training session.

Days usually consist of three movement sessions of varying intensities – choose to run, climb, lift, throw, hang and crawl. Relax in the afternoon before finishing the day with a deep pre-dinner stretch and breathwork.

Your retreat includes one full body massage. Extra treatments are bookable and include reiki, cupping therapy, reflexology and acupressure.

There is plenty of time for meditation, napping, journaling, perfecting your animal crawl in the woods, or curling up by the infinity pool with a good book. Horse-riding, kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding can be booked as an extra on your free afternoon.

Hike the famous Cami de Cavalls with breathtaking views of the Med, learn the ancient art of Menorquin slingshot and spend half a day at Lithica – a heritage limestone labyrinth and garden.

Spaces

The villa has elegant décor with antique influences. The library and sitting room are ideal for socialising or quiet time, whilst the converted barn has a more rustic feel.

The 12m infinity swimming pool, with teak deck and terrace loungers, has sweeping views over forests towards the Mediterranean. A hammock and shaded terrace area provide the perfect chill-out spaces.

Explore the 300-acre grounds, or take a 15-minute walk down a private track to the beautiful Binigaus Beach with Caribbean-like beaches and crystal-clear water.

The eight bedrooms are bookable as singles, doubles or twins; there are six in the main villa and two in the barn.

All bathrooms are en-suite apart from the shared bathroom between the Queen’s Suite and adjacent twin Cousins. All have good showers and the King’s Suite also has a bath.

Sustenance

The Wildfitness ‘wild eating’ principles are basic: eat ‘real food’ that is locally sourced. Meals are freshly prepared in-house and eaten communally and outside whenever possible.

There is meat or fish with some lunches and every supper, and vegetarians, vegans and food allergies can always be catered for.

Expect abundant seasonal vegetables and salads, local fish and meat, organic yogurt and cheeses.

Breakfast might include frittata with spinach. Lunch could be barbequed meat and roasted vegetables, while supper could feature hearty chickpea or meatball soup and baked snapper or chicken with flavoursome salads.

Most food is organic. Nothing processed, caffeinated or alcoholic is on the menu. Nuts and fruit are available for emergency snacks.
