Pilates retreats

Tone up and strengthen on a Pilates retreat for a rejuvenating break or to pick up the habit for a lifetime. Pilates is a wonderfully effective form of exercise that works on body alignment, breathing, developing a strong core, and improving coordination and balance. Daily classes on a retreat might include work with a band, soft ball or Swiss Ball, and instructors will usually give progressions over the course of the retreat so you stay challenged whatever your level of experience. Doing up to two classes a day on a Pilates retreat will give your whole body a boost, and many Pilates retreats team the sessions up with other healthy activities and give you the chance for a well deserved rest.
