Sodashi Rejuvenating Serum review

Sodashi Rejuvenating Serum review

Many women enjoy an intense working serum to nourish their bare faces whilst on retreat, and my current one of choice is this oil, an infusion of nine powerful botanicals including Centella, Palmarosa and Frankincense that soaks easily into my skin, makes it feel nourished and protected, and gives it a lovely glow – most especially in the half light of an early morning drink just before a yoga class on retreat or over a candle lit communal supper at the end of a retreat day.

The serum has a calming, subtle fragrance, and is antioxidant and vitamin rich to regenerate the skin and minimise sun damage and wrinkles. Be sure to press it into your skin rather than smearing or rubbing it – this helps it absorb and doesn’t drag your skin in anyway. Check out their other oils – they also do a range of Chakra Balancing oils which many will find a joy to use on yoga, healing and meditation retreats.

  • What’s queenly: The serum can be mixed with your regular moisturiser to protect your skin during your travel time to your retreat – most especially during moisture-sucking flights or in cold climates.
  • What’s lowly: The instructions say to use three or four times a week in the evening, but I confess on retreat I tend to treat my skin to it daily.
  • Retail Therapy:  AUD $125.00 from www.sodashi.com.au
