Meet contributor Nina Caplan
Nina Caplan is a freelance travel, arts, food & drink and lifestyle journalist who was named the Fortnum & Mason Drink Writer of the Year 2014 and the Louis Roederer International Wine Columnist of the Year 2014. She is a columnist for the New Statesman and Decanter and writes for Condé Nast Traveller, InStyle, the FT, the Daily and Sunday Telegraph and the Evening Standard, among others. She has been Editor of Metropolitan, the Eurostar magazine, and Features Editor of Time Out, but found that gainful employment clashed with her desire to leave the country at every opportunity. In addition to travel and the arts, she adores wine and yoga in equal measure, although not simultaneously. At home, she is a big believer in long baths with Ren Otto Rose Bath OIl but mostly she prefers to relax somewhere with sunshine, good walking, a top yoga teacher and an excellent masseur. She distrusts retreats that ban alcohol but then she would, wouldn’t she? Follow Nina on twitter.
