Meet contributor Lucy Gillmore
Lucy is freelance journalist and editor who specialises in food and travel but always jumps at the opportunity to review a holistic holiday or health retreat and has never been known to say no to a spa treatment.
She was the deputy travel editor at The Independent for eight years but left London to move up to Scotland. She now lives in the hills above Loch Ness and writes for newspapers such as The Guardian, Daily Telegraph, The Independent and The Times along with magazines including House & Garden and Conde Nast Traveller. She currently writes a monthly food and travel feature for Olive magazine and has updated the Wallpaper* City Guide to Edinburgh.
She goes hill-walking every day (having two dogs is an incentive) and has dabbled in yoga along the way finding one teacher in an old tin church hall in the Highlands but generally has the willpower of a gnat and thrives best in a boot camp style environment. You can find her on twitter at twitter.com/lucygillmore.
