Breath of Life wellbeing clinic opens Sanctuary in Sri Lanka The London-based Breath of Life wellbeing clinic has opened a retreat in southern Sri Lanka. Set 10km east of Tangalle on a significant sea turtle nesting site, it offers everyone of any age expert medical advice and personal support while enjoying the ancient holistic traditions of Ayurveda and yoga – ensuring your body is relaxed, balanced and strengthened.

The soft pale golden sand and the energetic waves of the Indian Ocean make a dramatic coastline fronted by palm trees. A few steps inland, set in a peaceful leafy enclave, are the bedrooms and treatment rooms. Come for Ayurvedic therapies, ostoepathy treatments, twice-daily Kundalini yoga classes, group mediations, gong baths and cocoa ceremonies whilst being strongly held by a welcoming team of professionals.

Price: £120 pp for full bed and board per night, or £1895 pp for a 9 night personalised bespoke retreat.

Dates: The Sanctuary is open all year round for individual bespoke retreats. The next group retreat will be a New Year retreat 22-31 January.

Maximum number of guests: 16.

Nearest airport: Colombo.
